Rise! Metal E-Zine es una revista electrónica Uruguaya dedicada a todos los estilos del Metal. Fue fundada por Jorge Patacas en Agosto de 2005, en una época donde eran pocos los medios dedicados al género en el país. La idea de hacer un zine online surgió debido a que era un formato no explorado anteriormente, y además podría llegar no solo a los fans de Uruguay, sino también de todo el mundo, de manera completamente gratuita. El zine tiene como propósito informar sobre todo lo que está sucediendo en el mundo del Metal mediante entrevistas, biografías, informes especiales, reseñas de CDs, demos y shows, además de las últimas novedades y lanzamientos discográficos de la escena, entre otras secciones. Si quieres enterarte de la salida de cada nueva edición escribe un mail a rise@risemetal.com con el asunto “SUSCRIBIRME”.

Rise! Metal E-Zine is an Uruguayan electronic magazine dedicated to all the Metal genres. It was founded by Jorge Patacas on August 2005, when the media dedicated to the genre in the country was limited. The idea of doing an online magazine appeared because it was an unexplored format in the country at that time, and besides it could be available not only for the fans in Uruguay, but to all the fans in the world, completely free. The zine has the purpose of bringing info about everything that’s happening in the Metal world through interviews, biographies, special features, CD reviews, concert reviews, plus the latest news and upcoming releases of the whole world scene, among other sections.
