La escena del Metalcore en Uruguay ha tenido un notorio crecimiento en los últimos dos años gracias a un puñado de bandas que se han preocupado por sonar de manera profesional, cuidando el aspecto visual, produciendo su propio merchandising, y creyendo en la unión para salir adelante.
